I'M KERRY & I KNOW EXACTLY HOW IT FEELS TO WANT THE BEST FOR YOUR CHILD
My name is Kerry and I am a qualified baker and pastry cook. I own a bakery with my hubby Nick and we have a daughter, Jacinta who loves visiting and loves to "help" in the bakery.
I was looking for a playgroup or a course to help her enjoy her interest in baking, which I couldn't find.
As I am qualified in baking and have a training and assessing certificate in adult education, I thought I could develop some lessons which take the kids through the whole process of learning about the ingredients, shopping, costs of food. All the aspects of baking from learning the ingredients, to weighing and baking.
For the older ones that want to earn some pocket money I also have a section to teach children about the money aspects from costing, to pricing products to earn pocket money.
Which lead me to create the Kids Bake Club.
